Today i was also able to get my hands on the oculus rift sets the dev kit 1 and Β 2 and the commercial version π it was good fun messing around with this technology and you can teleport your self into other worlds i saw some funny but yet very realistic and stunning videos on the internet where people mainly use them for gaming, but i decided if they can do that why not try put one of my buildings into the hardware.
anyway i done some research and turns out this year autodesk 360 are releasing a render setting for panoramic renders, meaning i can use this data and put it into a gaming system to be used on the oculus…… eeeekkkk π
here is the oculus sets i played with π …
and a short vid to show what it can do π …
So if you want some fun click the link below its just a practice vr model of my project, you may need to wait about 2 mins for it to load so its not pixilated then use your mouse to move around the screen π Β this then would be used for the VR headsets
MY VR MODEL
cool right !!! ive braught my self a Google cardbaord head set which is like the same as the oculus but it only cost me 3.99 π and Β you make it your self, they just use your phone as the screen and you load this model onto your phone ad the vr works just as well as the 500 pound oculus headset π i love mine π this is whatit looks like when you get it in the post and you have to follow the fold instructions and bam you have a cheap vr head set π
